Medicare Rebates

Our psychologists are all AHPRA-registered Medicare providers. This means that we can process rebates for you, provided you have a relevant care plan from your GP as listed above.

In order to claim a portion of your psychology fees through medicare, it is necessary to first obtain a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist. A mental health treatment plan lets you claim up to 10 sessions per calendar year with a registered psychologist.

Initially your doctor will refer you to a Psychologist for 6 sessions after which time you need to make a review appointment with your doctor.  If you need to continue seeing your Psychologist your GP will then refer you for further sessions. Any additional sessions left over from the calendar year will be carried over into the next calendar year.

Registered Psychologist - Medicare rebate $101.55

*Medicare does not cover cancellation fees.

Private Health Cover

If you have private health cover with extras, you may be eligible for rebates on our services.
